Christmas images... and Nicholas on the move!!!

We had a good Christmas. The night before we were out VERY late at a traditional French "Réveillion" dinner with some friends who are a Moroccan/French family. We didn't quite realize beforehand that it would actually go to MIDNIGHT with our two boys, but it did. And it was fun! By the end Oliver was staring in a tired stupor at Tom and Jerry on their tv, but he didn't fall asleep! We were definitely a bit tired Christmas morning. We didn't let it deter us though. Oliver joyfully opened his gifts and we ate caramel rolls and drank coffee and ate candy. We did miss our families and got a chance to connect by skype later that day. Though it's not the same as being there in person, we are so thankful for skype. Do you like our spindly little Christmas tree we bought from "Marjane"? (a sort of Moroccan Walmart) Ollie and Nico got superhero costumes! (And Mommy is graciously letting you see her bedhead so that you can see how great the boys look in their new get-up.)








In other news, Nicholas is growing quickly and yes, as of today, really starting to CRAWL! He has been practicing hard for the last couple weeks and today he started moving. It's a little halting yet, but I'm sure soon he'll be on the move all over our Moroccan tiled floors... Here comes the childproofing days again. He is also starting to "cuddle up" to Ollie (get in his space) and even try and grab things out of his hand! They both love it.
