Cultural Lesson: What do Moroccans wear?

I would like to post more frequently here about Moroccan culture and what it's like to live here. (Not JUST adorable photos of the boys...) One of the most basic pieces of traditional Moroccan wear is the hooded robe called a Djellaba. In a post a year or so ago, Kirk modeled one for you. (with light saber in hand) Yes, they can be mistaken for Jedi wear. When we first arrived, I kept thinking Bathrobe.... But now that I have seen them all over the place everyday, they no longer look like something to wear after showering. They come in all sorts of fabrics, colors, designs, and embellishments like buttons, beads, tassels, embroidery. Not all Moroccans wear them at all, and some wear them everyday. They are somewhat like a coat that is mainly worn outside.
I am hoping to have one made for me soon. We went to the fabric market and I think I spied some fabric I would like, but by the time I decided to buy it, the shop had closed. I have a great seamstress friend here who will be happy to help me with it. I hope to bring it back so you can see it!

I'd like one too. Do they come in XL? Or do you need more info? I'm a 38 in jeans, but I am trying hard to get down to 36, been trying for years come to think of it....hmm. I guess you just have to find a fellow Moroccan who is similar in size and shape and go from there, how does that sound? Good cultural lesson, keep it up!
