Last week we had our friend, Dawson, make his 2nd trip out here to see us... He was very gracious as we tried to make his trip fun while nursing a sick baby. (Nicholas had roseola and crazy temperatures and was pretty miserable for 9 days.. not fun for any of us!) We were very blessed by Dawson's love of photography because we ended up just sticking around the city of Casablanca and our little town right outside of it, and he took 1000 photographs. Actually, (I) Sarah got to take maybe 75 of those, and that was lots of fun for me too! So we now have some great photos of where we live! We will look forward to showing you them in person when we are back in the USA. Which incidentally is in only 5 weeks!!! Crazy. But for now, enjoy these photos that give you a little glimpse into this city that is our host here in Morocco. Most of the photos in this post were taken in a certain area of Casablanca that is filled with old (crumbling) French influenced Art Deco style architecture. More to come in the next posts...
